CaMaRose Lamauld and Lamatweed - the softest substitute Aran weight for your projects.

CaMaRose's Lamatweed and Lamauld is a perfect yarn for the classic patterns from PetiteKnit -  Stockholm Vest (v-neck). I'll be using the Granit color with a thread of my hand-dyed baby suri alpaca/silk to make this even softer. 

LAMAULD, is a soft, rustic, single-ply yarn consisting of 50% llama wool and 50% Peruvian Highland Wool. This is an ethical yarn that is mulesing-free.

The llama wool’s fibers are an exclusive natural product, lanolin free, light, and strong. The hollow construction of the fibers gives an unusual, good insulation capacity. Therefore, the llama wool is significantly warmer than ordinary sheep wool.

Gauge: 17.0 to 18.0 sts = 10cm (4 inches)
The recommended gauge is 17-18 sts x 24 rows and the recommended needle size is 4.5-5 mm.
